In her retirement, Vicky has begun publishing books, activity books, curriculum guides, and recently helped publish a history of her home church, Lexington United Methodist Church, for its 175th anniversary. Boyd and Vicky Jackson have been married for over 30 years, are both retired, and have completed many creative projects that encouraged them to start this LLC, where they can offer these skills to supplement their retirement income. Over the years, their favorite side-hustle was playing music. They performed with a few different groups: Key West, Port Royal Sound, and Not Necessarily the Band. Boyd retired from printing and IT work, while Vicky retired from teaching English and theatre after over 30 years in Lexington County School District One. Vicky has published over 20 books, including curriculum guides, activity books, and self-help titles. Boyd digitized some very old 8mm film for his father-in-law, and having success, decided to offer this to some friends and family. So they figured, why not offer their skills for hire? They created their LLC, VicNBoydDotCom. With their connections in the local entertainment scene, they also offer entertainment planning and booking services.
